Raghav Chadha To Meet Punjab Governor Over CM Alleged Illegal Involvement
Ahead of the Punjab elections, Raghav Chadha, the co-in-charge of AAP seeks time to meet Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit and discuss the CM Channi's involvement in the illegal sand mining. However, Chadha wants to discuss the recent raids conducted by ED over CM's nephew Bhupinder Singh Honey. Moreover, ED seized a cash of Rs 10 crores, gold worth 21 Lakh, and a Rolex watch from Honey's house on January 19.

Punjab CM Channi Calls Kejriwal 'Absconder' Over Apology To Majithia
Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi on December 24, slammed AAP chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for giving 'Mafinama' to court and for apologising to Shiromani Akali Dal MLA Bikram Singh Majithia. He also called him an "absconder". Notably, a year ago, Kejriwal had submitted an apology letter and withdrew his allegation against Majithia for the involvement in drug case.

Punjab Govt Waives Pending Water Bills & Power Bills Of Rs 1868 Cr
Punjab Cabinet under the leadership of CM Charanjit Singh Channi on October 18 decided to waive off the pending water bill of ''Rs 700 crore in all cities'' and electricity bills of ''Rs 1,168 crore''. Furthermore, the cabinet approved the proposal to provide free power to all rural water supply and reduced the service charges to Rs 50 per household. ''We Promised and We Delivered,'' said Channi.

Punjab CM Meets PM Modi; Urges To Repeal Farm laws
The newly crowned Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has met Prime Minister Modi on October 1 and urged him to withdraw all three controversial farm laws. Reportedly, CM Channi has also requested the PM to withdraw Centre's decision to postpone the paddy procurement in the agricultural dominant state. CM Channi also appealed to the PM "to end the deadlock with farmers".
