2 Congress Leaders Quit Party, Joins BJP In Gujarat
Two Congress leaders, Naresh Raval and Raju Parmar, joined the BJP in Gujarat, on August 17 in the presence of State BJP President CR Patil. After joining the BJP, the leaders expressed disappointment with the Congress and said, they don't respect Gujarat and Gujarati leaders. Former Congress leaders said, "senior party leaders are sidelined, ignored and their views are never considered. Due to this, we have quit the party."

Delhi HC Issues Notice To Rahul, Sonia Gandhi & Other Leaders: Delhi Riots 2020
Delhi HC issued fresh notice to prominent leaders like Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and activists, over hate speech in 2020 Delhi riots. As per ANI, on March 22, the HC reviewed a petition filed, demanding FIRs against politicians for spreading communal hatred, after the riots, which killed approximately 200 people. The HC bench also expressed displeasure over petitioners for not filing the process fees in the matter.

Congress's Spox Randeep Surjewala, Former CM Digvijay Singh Test Covid-19 Positive
Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala and former Madhya Pradesh CM Digvijay Singh have tested positive for Covid-19 on April 16. Taking to Twitter, Surjewala informed about his health and requested everyone who came in contact to isolate and take necessary precautions. Meanwhile, Congress MP and former Madhya Pradesh CM Digvijay Singh also tweeted that he is under self-isolation at his home in Delhi after testing positive.

Haryana Police Detains Congress Leaders Marching Against Farm Laws
Haryana Police detained former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda and several other Congress leaders marching to extend their support to the farmers' protests on January 15. Observing the day as ‘Kisan Adhikar Diwas’, the protesting leaders marched towards the Raj Bhawan where they were stopped by placing barricades and using water cannons. Meanwhile, the hike in fuel prices was highlighted by the Congress leaders during the protest.
