Congress Slams BJP Over G20 Dinner Invite Referring To President Of Bharat
The Congress alleged that the "Union of States" is under assault by the Modi government citing G20 dinner invite referring to the President as "President of Bharat". "So the news is indeed true. Rashtrapati Bhawan has sent out an invite for a G20 dinner on Sept 9th in the name of 'President of Bharat' instead of the usual 'President of India'," said Congress leader, opposing India to rename as Bharat.

Rajnath Singh Lashes Out At Opposition Over Sanatan Dharam Row, Demands Apology
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh took offence to the Sanatan Dharam comment by DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin and demanded an apology from I.N.D.I.A and BLOC alliance of the opposition. Notably, Singh said, " Congress ally DMK is insulting Sanatan Dharma. They say that Sanatan Dharma should be abolished." He also asked the Congress and the DMK to apologise and take action against Stalin.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, on August 17, said that Jawaharlal Nehru is known for the work he did and not just for his name. "Nehru ji is known for the work he did, and not just his name,” said the Congress MP. Randeep Singh Surjewala, Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP, is alleged to have used derogatory language in reference to the BJP and its followers, labeling them as 'Rakshas’. Surjewala's remarks during the Congress 'Jan Akrosh rally' held in Kaithal, Haryana, drew political reactions and criticism. "Those aligned with the BJP and the JJP are termed 'rakshas' (monsters), and the same label is applied to supporters," said Surjewala.

Congress Alleges Interference Of BJP In Election Commission Of India
The Congress alleged that the Modi government wants to ensure control over the Election Commission in a poll year. Sharing a letter written in June 2012 by veteran BJP leader L K Advani to then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said even he had said that the appointments to constitutional bodies should be done in a bipartisan manner to remove any impression of bias.

In an event, PM Modi said, don't call the alliance INDIA, but "Ghamandiya" the Hindi word for arrogant.
