Assam Records 296 Fresh Covid-19 Cases With 7 Deaths In 24 Hours
Assam reported 296 new Coronavirus cases, and seven deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Reportedly, the total cases have risen to 6,10,941 with a death toll of 6,004 in the state. Moreover, total number of recoveries were reported to be 6,01,309 with an active case load of 2,281, as per the ministry.

India Records 15,823 COVID-19 Cases & 226 New Deaths
The infection tally of COVID-19 in India rose to 3,40,01,743 with the 15,823 new cases in the country in the last 24 hours on October 13, according to the Union Health Ministry's data at 8 AM. Furthermore, India recorded 226 new deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 4,51,189. However, the data also showed that the national Covid recovery rate reached 98.06 per cent.
