To ensure smooth transportation of essential services, the Mumbai Police has introduced a color-coded sticker system for vehicles, effective from April 17. The step has been taken to eliminate the necessity of stopping all the vehicles at every checkpoint. The vehicles will be given three sets of colours to curb traffic jams as well as reduce the burden on the police.

Villagers near Colombo’s Panadura beach in Sri Lanka broke COVID-19 curfew to rescue around 100 whales that had beached. The locals pushed the small whales back to sea. Due to an alarming rise in the COVID-19 cases, the Belgium Government announced new restrictions on October 16. The cafes, restaurants, and bars will be shut for over a month and the sale of alcohol will not be allowed after 8 PM. Also, a night curfew has been imposed from midnight till 5 AM. The new restrictions are to be imposed from October 19.
