Mumabi Police Issues Colour-coded Stickers For Essential Services Vehicles

To ensure smooth transportation of essential services, the Mumbai Police has introduced a color-coded sticker system for vehicles, effective from April 17. The step has been taken to eliminate the necessity of stopping all the vehicles at every checkpoint. The vehicles will be given three sets of colours to curb traffic jams as well as reduce the burden on the police.

Bhopal Admin Imposes Curfew Over RSS-linked Construction Work

Bhopal's district administration on January 17 imposed a curfew in three areas after a construction work was initiated by an RSS-linked trust on a disputed land. After receiving SDM’s order in its favour, the trust had started constructing boundary around the 20,000 sq ft disputed plot, which has been claimed as a graveyard by MP Waqf Board. The curfew was imposed in Teela Jamalpura, Hanumanganj and Gautam Nagar police stations' areas.

Sri Lanka: Villagers Break Curfew To Rescue Stranded Whales On Colombo Beach

Villagers near Colombo’s Panadura beach in Sri Lanka broke COVID-19 curfew to rescue around 100 whales that had beached. The locals pushed the small whales back to sea. Spain: New 'State Of Emergency' Declared To Contain COVID-19 Spread

To contain the coronavirus transmission, Spain's PM Pedro Sanchez on October 25 announced a new 'State of Emergency'. Under this, a night curfew will be imposed in all parts of the country except the Canary Island and just 6 persons will be allowed to meet. The PM is willing to extend this till May 2021. However, he will have to secure the Parliament's approval for extension after every 15 days.

COVID-19 in Belgium: Government Announces Night Curfew and Other Restrictions

Due to an alarming rise in the COVID-19 cases, the Belgium Government announced new restrictions on October 16. The cafes, restaurants, and bars will be shut for over a month and the sale of alcohol will not be allowed after 8 PM. Also, a night curfew has been imposed from midnight till 5 AM. The new restrictions are to be imposed from October 19.
