India Covid-19 Update, Registers 20,279 New Cases With 36 Fatality
India reported 20,279 new Covid-19 cases, with 36 fatalities, as confirmed by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. On July 24, the ministry reported an increase of 2,100 active cases, taking the tally to 1,52,200 and fatalities at 5,26,033. Moreover, the active cases rate is at 0.35%, and the recovery rate with 18,143 new recoveries is 98.45%.India administered 28,83,489 doses, taking tally at 2,01,99,33,453.

India Covid-19 Cases Dip To 17,698 With 2,706 New Cases
India registered 2,706 new Covid-19 cases, taking the active case tally to 17,698, on May 30. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare also confirmed 25 fatalities and 2,070 recoveries, in the past 24 hours, after conducting 2,78,267 tests. With the update of the new case, India currently has a 0.58% daily positivity rate and 98.74% recovery rate. Moreover, approximately 193.31 crore vaccine doses have been administered to people.

Chinese Companies Involved In Tax Evasion & Financial Impropriety In India: Report
As per the Directorate General of GST Intelligence in India, many Chinese companies were found guilty of tax evasions and several incidents of fraud. In 2021, several Chinese firms were raided by the Indian Income-Tax department for transferring Rs 20 crore to China in the span of two years. Moreover, Chinese companies have also exploited the Indian credit market by framing the Indian borrowers.

Free VPN Apps Made Their Users' Data Public: vpnMentor
The vpnMentor research team, led by Noam Rotem, found that over 20 million VPN users' data is publicly accessible because a group of free VPN apps left their servers completely open. The VPN apps include UFO VPN, FAST, Super, Flash, Rabbit VPN. Reportedly, the users may face fraud, blackmail, extortion as their IP addresses, home addresses, phone models, device ID and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) are public.
