K Kavitha Summoned In Delhi Liquor Scam Again
After hours of grilling by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) K Kavitha, the MLC of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) finally left the ED office in Delhi. Notably, at 9:15 am, the daughter of Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao left the ED office, after interrogation in the Delhi Liquor Scam 2021-2022. Kavitha has been named as a major suspect in the ED's chargesheet of Delhi Liquor Scam, and has been called again.

K Kavitha Leaves For Delhi, To Appear Before ED
Telangana MLC K Kavitha left for Delhi and will likely appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. On March 20, the daughter of Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao will appear before ED, for a second time, after being named as one of the suspects in the controversial scam. The ED has named Nizamabad MLC a scam suspect and launched an investigation.

ED To Visit Tihar Jail And Question Manish Sisodia In Delhi Liquor Policy Scam
After the CBI, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is also scheduled to question Manish Sisodia, the former Deputy CM of Delhi and AAP leader. On March 7, the ED officials are going to visit Tihar Jail, in Delhi to interrogate Sisodia, in connection with the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. Notably, the Delhi court extended the judicial custody of Manish Sisodia, prime accused in the scam, till March 20.

Manish Sisodia Moves Delhi HC In Delhi Liquor Policy Scam
After the Supreme Court rejected the petition of Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, the AAP leader moved the Delhi High Court. Filed on March 3, Sisodia sought relief from arrest and CBI investigation in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. Notably, Sisodia has been arrested by the CBI and has been remanded till March 5, after being named as the prime accused in the 2021-2022 Delhi Liquor Policy Scam.

Manish Sisodia Moves SC Against CBI Probe & Arrest
Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia moved the Supreme Court (SC,) against the CBI arrest and the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam probe. After the CBI court remanded the AAP leader in the scam case till March 4, Manish Sisodia, filed a petition in the Top Court. Abhishek Singhvi filed petition on behalf of Sisodia, requesting for an urgent hearing. CJI DY Chandrachud is likely to hear the matter on February 28.

AAP Plans Mega Protest Amid Arrest Of Manish Sisodia
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders planned a mega protest in the capital city, raising voice against the arrest of Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, in the 2021-2022 Delhi Excise Liquor Scam. The protest has been planned ahead of Sisodia's court date. Notably, Delhi Deputy CM will be presented before the CBI court at 2 pm. Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia requested the CBI to postpone questioning in the Delhi Excise Policy Scam till February-end. On February 19, Sisodia cited the preparing of Delhi Budget 2022-2023 as reason and asked for an exemption from the CBI questioning. CBI Arrests Ex Auditor Of Telangana Minister K Kavitha
Butchi Babu, ex-auditor of the Telangana cabinet minister K Kavitha, who represented the "South Group" in the Delhi Liquor case, has been arrested by the CBI, on February 7. As per sources, Butchi was non-cooperative and his responses were found to be evasive, therefore the agency arrested the auditor. The agency said, Butchi has an important role in the case, and helped Hyderabad-based businessmen to gain from the policy.
