Bajaj Pulsar 250 To Arrive Before Diwali; Features, Price & More

Bajaj Auto confirmed the launch of Bajaj Pulsar 250 on October 28, a week before Diwali. Experts believe that the 250cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine will put out 28hp and 20NM of peak torque. Pulsar 250 comes with a projector headlamp, monoshock rear suspension, telescopic front forks, alloy wheels and other exciting features. The motorcycle is expected to be priced around Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kejriwal Imposes Complete Firecrackers Ban Before Diwali

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on September 15 announced a complete ban on the sale, usage, and storage of all types of firecrackers in order to curb the pollution on Diwali. Announcing the development, Kejriwal tweeted, ''A complete ban is being imposed...So that people's lives can be saved.'' However, the BJP criticised the decision and said the Delhi government should compensate the traders for their loss.

Pizza Tops As Most-Ordered Food on Zomato in 2020, Biriyani, Momos follow

In a report released by food-delivery service Zomato, pizza has entered the list of the most-ordered food in India. Kolkata: Puja Community Members Destroy Firecrackers To Spread Awareness

After the Calcutta High Court banned the use and sale of firecrackers on Diwali, members of a Kali Puja community in Kolkata on November 12 destroyed firecrackers with water to spread awareness. In addition to Diwali, the court has also decided to restrict 'Chhath' and 'Kartik Puja' celebration to curb pollution. The High Court has warned that those, who flout the rules, would serve a six-month jail term.
