Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath made his remark over Sanathan Dharma, and said, "It has always worked for the welfare of the society." The comments were made amid the celebration of Dussehra, also known as Vijay Dashmi, the symbol of win of truth over evil. Celebrated widely in India, Vijay Dashmi is also marking, the return of Ramji to Ayodhya. "Sanathan is for the welfare of India," says Yogi CM.

Over 8,000 Women Perform Folk Dance In International Kullu Dussehra Festival: Himachal Pradesh
In Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu, around 8,000 women attired in traditional outfits took part in international Kullu Dussehra festival and performed folk dance at Rath Maidan on October 7. The festival is val commenced on October 5, and the cold dance marked day three of the festival. Notably, on day one, PM Modi, CM Jai Ram Thakur and Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar participated in the opening ceremony.

Sonia Gandhi Visits Bheemanakolli Temple In Karnataka’s Begur To Offer Dussehra Prayers
The interim president of Congress party Sonia Gandhi, during her visit to Karnataka on October 5, visited the Bheemanakolli temple in Begur village to offer her Dussehra prayers. She was reportedly accompanied by village panchayat members and local Congress members. Sonia Gandhi’s visit to Karnataka has come in wake of the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the 3,500 km march from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, which is led by Rahul Gandhi.

Hindu Temple All Set For Inauguration In Dubai, Open To Public From Dussehra
In Dubai's Jabel Ali, a new Hindu Temple is all set to open on October 4, at the scheduled time of inauguration at 5:00 pm. The newly constructed temple is an extension of the existing years-old Sindhi Guru Darbar Temple, in the United Arab Emirates. As per the local media, people of all religious faith will be allowed in the temple, open to the public from October 5, Dussehra.

Doordarshan To Telecast Grand Ramlila Of Ayodhya
Ayodhya's Grand Ramlila will begin from the evening of October 6 at the Lakshman Kila in Ayodhya and will be telecasted live on national broadcaster Doordarshan. Bollywood personalities are expected to take part in the Ramlila. Adhering to covid-19 norms, the event is being organized virtually. It will go on from 7 PM to 10 PM till Dussehra on October 15 and this year, organizers are targeting 50 crore viewers.
