Bank Unions Support Farmers Protest; Call To Break Deadlock
The members of the All India Bank Employees' Association have come out in support of the ongoing farmers' protest against the farm law. Moreover, officers' unions such as All India Bank Officers’ Confederation, All India Bank Officers’ Association have asked the government to resolve and break the deadlock. The bank unions have collectively voiced, "Our nation needs peace and main stakeholders of the nation should not be made to suffer”.

Manoj Tiwari Alleges 'Tukde-Tukde Gang' Behind Farmers' Protests
Taking a jibe, Delhi BJP leader Manoj Tiwari said that the "tukde-tukde gang" has been trying to turn the ongoing farmers' protest into Shaheen Bagh 2.0 and create "unrest" in the country. Moreover, Tiwari has claimed the protests to be well-planned since pro-Khalistan slogans and threats to PM were allegedly raised by protestors. However, he hoped that farmers will understand the laws and withhold the intentions of the alleged kindlers.

Punjab Congress MPs Raise Issues Of Farm Laws, Goods Trains Before Amit Shah
A group of eight Lok Sabha Congress MPs from Punjab met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on November 7 and raised several issues. The issues included farm laws, restarting goods train services in Punjab, and payment of GST compensation to the state. After Punjab, Rajasthan Assembly Introduces Farm Bills to Nullify Centre's Farm Laws
Amid farmers protest, Rajasthan government placed three bills in State Assembly to nullify the Centre’s farm law. On the first day of Assembly session minister Shanti Dhariwal introduced the bills. The development came after CM Ashok Gehlot had earlier said Rajasthan will stand with Punjab in bypassing ‘anti farmer laws'. Congress had also asked the CMs of states ruled by the party to pass their laws in assembly to negate Centre's law.

Punjab's Talwandi Coal Power Plants Forced to Shut Down As Coal-crisis Increases
Facing coal-crunch, Punjab's Talwandi Sabo Power Plant has been forced to shut down. The Nabha Power Limited, Rajpura is also facing coal shortage as farmers continue sitting on rail-track gates of both the plants. The Central Government 'Backstabbed' Farmers with New Farm Bills: Arvind Kejriwal
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal joined protests organized by AAP of Punjab Unit at Jantar Mantar against the new farm laws. Protesters demanded new laws supporting Maximum Selling Price (MSP). Kejriwal blamed BJP for not implementing Swaminathan committe's reports which suggested 1.5 times increase in MSP instead abolishing the concept of MSP. Kejriwal further said that the Central government has backstabbed farmers.

Congress says they will scrap the New Farmers Bill, When Retrieves Power
Rahul Gandhi while addressing the launch of “Kheti Bachao Aandolan" on October 4, said that when Congress regains power, they will scrap the newly introduced farm laws and "throw it in the waste paper basket". He also stated that there are defects in the system, but doesn't require to discard the entire system. Rahul further questioned the government for not debating in the parliament ahead of passing the bills.
