Luring Creators YouTube Plans To Pay Users To Create 'Shorts'

Google has created $100 million funds for YouTube Shorts in order to pay users for making engaging content and will roll out this option for users in the US and India. YouTube will get in touch with creators with original content and wide-scale engagement. Although the payment amount is unknown, YouTube plans to keep it up till 2022. This initiative is seen to rival the now banned Chinese app Tiktok.

Equity Schemes Witness Net Inflow After 9 Months In March

Indian equity mutual funds have recorded an inflow of Rs 9,115 crore in March. Witnessing inflows for the first time in nine months, the Association of Mutual Funds in India data reported Rs 4,534-crore outflow from the equity and the equity-linked schemes in February. Reportedly, the overall outflow stood at Rs 29,745 crore for the period studied. Meanwhile, gold exchange-traded funds witnessed an inflow of Rs 662 crore in March.

Fund Houses Must Contribute To LPCC As Per FY21 Asset Under Mgmt: SEBI

Securities market regulator SEBI has urged the fund houses to contribute to Limited Purpose Clearing Corporation (LPCC) in a newly revised formula framed in FY 2020-21. J&K: RSS Starts Participation Drive To Collect Funds For Ram Mandir

Suresh ‘Bhaiyyaji’ Joshi, general secretary of the RSS, on January 14 launched a drive in J&K to collect funds for Ayodhya's Ram Mandir construction. Reaching out to the people and asking for their active participation, Joshi said that the drive also aims to connect with the people and society. The drive started as a part of the RSS’ nationwide campaign to collect funds for the temple's construction will continue till February 27.

Kerala Set To Have World's Largest Rehabilitation Centre For Elephants

The Kerala government has planned to expand and renovate Elephant Rehabilitation Centre at Thiruvananthapuram's Kottur to attract tourists. EU Recommends Its Govt. To Use COVID Recovery Package on Green Energy

The European Union has recommended its members to use €750 billion for COVID-19 recovery packages. They have asked their 27 member countries to spend money on green energy, transport, and also focus on other areas. EU official Paolo Gentiloni said, "The guidance aims to help the member states to prepare national plans in line with our agreed objectives". The member countries can apply for said grants from January 2021.
