UK Health Officials Announces Allergy Warning Over Pfizer Vaccine

After two health-workers in the UK got an allergic reaction to Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, British health officials have alarmed people with a history of an allergic reaction to any vaccine or drugs not to inoculate themselves. Dr June Raine, chief executive of UK's health regulatory body, said, “We know from the very extensive clinical trials that this wasn’t a feature.” Reportedly, more than 1000 people have been inoculated in the UK.

Report Finds 38% COVID Positive Indian Health Workers Are Women

According to reports, India has recorded 79,772 COVID-19 positive cases among women healthcare workers. This constitutes for over 38% of the total healthcare workers who have tested COVID-19 Positive. The experts opine that even though the percentage does not seem alarming, it is a matter of concern as the ratio of women in the health sector is low with male-female ratio at 1.6.
