Week After Taking Pfizer's Vaccine, Californian Nurse Tests COVID+
Matthew W, a nurse from a local hospital in California, has tested COVID-19 positive even after getting inoculated with Pfizer vaccine a week ago. The 45-year-old nurse received the vaccine's shot on December 18 and got tested COVID-19 positive a day after Christmas. However, microbiologist Christian Ramers called the incident as "unexpected" and said the clinical trials data suggest that it takes at least 10-14 days for the vaccine to develop resistance.
