After a succession of celebrities became infected with the coronavirus, new reports indicate that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has also tested positive for the Covid-19 virus. But, neither the actor nor his team has issued an official comment. Moreover, after a five-year sabbatical, King Khan has three new films, "Pathaan," "Dunki," and "Jawan," due in 2023.

ITBP Officer Killed & Jawan Injured In IED Naxal Attack: Chhattisgarh
In Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district, an Assistant Sub-Inspector rank officer was killed on March 14, in an IED Blast attack by Naxals. While, the ASI Rajendra Singh died and a head constable was injured and will be airlifted to Raipur for treatment. "The blast took place at 8:30 am on Monday when a company of 53 Battalion ITBP was patrolling in between Sonpur and Dhondaribeda village," said, Sadanand Kumar, SP.

CRPF Jawans Become 'Brothers' In Martyred Soldier's Sister's Wedding: UP
The wedding of Joyti, a sister of martyred CRPF soldier Shailendra Pratap Singh, became special when CRPF jawans came to perform all the rituals on behalf of her late brother in Uttar Pradesh's Rae Bareli. The jawans reportedly presented gifts and carried the veil above her. ''My son is no longer in this world but now we've so many sons in the form of CRPF soldiers,'' said Singh's father.

3 Jawans From Indian Army Arrested In Drug Dealing Case: Dibrugarh
Assam Police on October 22, has seized a car with drugs worth Rs 1 crore in the drug trafficking case, arresting 3 Army Jawans from the "Assam Rifles" regiment and a civilian. As informed by the sources, jawans used to do their drugs dealing in their khaki uniforms in order to go unnoticed. Moreover, law enforcement has also seized around 260 grams of 'brown sugar' from the jawans.

Thief Leaves Apology Note At Victim's House After Robbery: MP
A thief penned down an apology for stealing gold and silver jewelry at a Jawan's house in MP’s Bhind district. However, the police reached spot only after a complaint was filed and retracted an apology note that read, ''Sorry friend there was a compulsion, I was helpless. I will return it to you. You don't take the tension of money at all.'' A probe is underway following the robbery.

Terrorist Kills Security Jawan In An Encounter At J&K's Pulwama
In an encounter with terrorists, an army jawan was killed in the Rajpora area of J&K's Pulwama district during a search operation launched by the Security Force. According to the police, the security personnel had information about the terrorist's presence in the Hanji village. However, the officials believe that 3-4 terrorists were trapped while the jawan succumbed to injuries at Srinagar's hospital.

R-Day Parade Opts For Short Route With Smaller Contingents Of Jawans
The COVID-affected 72nd Republic Day parade will be held under several modifications including curtailing the parade route by 50% as the jawans will march till the National Stadium only. Earlier, they used to march till Red Fort. Maintaining social distancing, the January 26 Parade will also have shorter contingents of mask-donned 96 jawans instead of 144 jawans. Additionally, in a first, the CRPF will display its own tableau.

Chattisgarh: CAF Soldier Kidnapped by the Naxals; Dead Body Found After Seven Days
Chattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) soldier's body was found tossed on the Gangalur-Bijapur Road, on September 18. Reportedly, the soldier was kidnapped seven days back and killed by Naxals. The victim was identified as Malluram Suryavanshi who was posted in the CAF's Pioneer Platoon. "The Gangalur Area Committee took responsibility for the murder" said the Superintendent of Police, Bijapur, Kamlochan Kashyap.
