Jammu & Kashmir Anantnag Encounter: 6-Year-Old Pays Tribute To Late Father In Military Uniform

The six-year-old son of Colonel Manpreet Singh, one of the three killed in an encounter that broke out between terrorists and security officials in Kashmir's Anantnag region, on September 14. The six-year-old  donned military camouflage while he offered a salute as the body of his father reached home in Mullanpur of Mohali district in Punjab. Meanwhile, the search operation in Kashmir's Anantnag is still underway.

Forest Department To Construct 68 Water Reservoirs In South Kashmir

The Forest Department will build up to 68 water reservoirs in all of the districts of South Kashmir, That will benefit the ecosystem, locals, and hikers. Over 100 Terrorists Eliminated Since Beginning Of 2022 In Kashmir, Say Officials

Officials from Jammu and Kashmir have reported that over 100 terrorists have been eliminated in counter terrorism operations since the beginning of 2022. Notably, during the same corresponding period in 2021, 50 terrorists including one foreigner were killed. This year, 100 terrorists Including 29 foreigners have been killed. Of this, 63 reportedly belonged to Lashkar-e-Taiba terror outfit and 24 to Jaish-e-Mohammad outfit.
