Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan Raises Kashmir Issue At UNGA; Says, India-Pak Not At Peace
Addressing at the 77th session of UNGA in New York, Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan said that India and Pakistan “have not established peace between them yet”. This has come as he raided the border issue of India’s Kashmir. He then considered the situation “unfortunate”, and hoped that peace will be established soon. Notably, Erdogan met PM Modi on the sideline of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit on September 16.

Forest Department To Construct 68 Water Reservoirs In South Kashmir
The Forest Department will build up to 68 water reservoirs in all of the districts of South Kashmir, That will benefit the ecosystem, locals, and hikers. Irfan Ali Shah, Conservator of Forest South Kashmir, disclosed that Forest Department will build additional water reservoirs under the CAMP program and CAPEX budget. According to Shah, an eco-tourist hut that will serve as a rest stop for Kunsar Nag Kulgam hikers is being built shortly.

Over 100 Terrorists Eliminated Since Beginning Of 2022 In Kashmir, Say Officials
Officials from Jammu and Kashmir have reported that over 100 terrorists have been eliminated in counter terrorism operations since the beginning of 2022. Notably, during the same corresponding period in 2021, 50 terrorists including one foreigner were killed. This year, 100 terrorists Including 29 foreigners have been killed. Of this, 63 reportedly belonged to Lashkar-e-Taiba terror outfit and 24 to Jaish-e-Mohammad outfit.

Kulgam Bank Manager's Murder: Terrorists Identified, Will Be Neutralised Soon, Says IGP Vijay Kumar
Kashmir's Inspector General of Police (IGP) said that he has identified the terrorists involved in Kulgam bank manager's murder case. He further stated that the terrorists will be neutralised soon. RSS Leader Indresh Kumar Raises Voice Against Kashmiri Pandits Killing
RSS leader Indresh Kumar took a dig at political parties for keeping silent in the recent killing of Kashmiri Pandits in Jammu and Kashmir. On May 16, Kumar said, "The anger of Kashmiri Pandits is justified. But the bigger anger is about the silence of political parties that chant slogans of secularism".
