Kerala Congress (M) Ends Its Association With UDF; Chief Says Politics in The State To Change

The Kerala Congress (M) has withdrawn from the United Democratic Front (UDF) after an association of 38 years. The decision was announced on October 14 by the KC(M) chief Jose K Mani, who claimed that his party was not treated well by UDF and that the move will change the political scenario in the state. However, the Kerala CM while welcoming the move, said that it would “strengthen democratic and secular forces in the state.”
