Rajinikanth, one of the biggest superstars in the country with Jailer as the film has received positive word of mouth since its first show, has opened to a massive Rs 52 crore collection (gross) on day 1 in India. Notably, Jailr is the biggest Opening in Tamil Nadu in 2023 and the Overall Highest Opening Day India Gross in 2023 for Kollywood, expected to hit huge box-office collections.

Rajinikanth Shows Interest In Restarting 'Rana', Says Director KS Ravikumar
Tamil movies' director KS Ravikumar recently told that he re-read the script of his movie 'Rana' to actor Rajinikanth following the actor's wish. The movie had its script written in 2011 but could not be shot due to the bad health conditions of the actor. Vijay Starrer 'Master' to Get the Theatrical Release, Says Director
Actor Vijay starrer 'Master' will be released only in theatres, confirmed the movie's director Lokesh Kanagaraj on September 23. Earlier, the movie was rumoured to have an OTT platform release. "We are waiting for the government to re-open theatres across India", said Lokesh. Besides Vijay, the movie will star Malavika Mohanan and Andrea Jeremiah as well. Anirudh Ravichander will be giving music for the film.

Kamal Haasan Announces His 232nd Movie 'Evanendru Ninaithaai'
Actor Kamal Haasan shared the poster of his 232nd movie 'Evanendru Ninaithaai' which is to be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. This is the director's third movie and first with the actor.
