AAP MP Sanjay Singh Files Petition Challenging Arrest In Delhi Liquor Case

Sanjay Singh, the MP of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) filed a petition in the Delhi High Court (HC) challenging his arrest. Notably , the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Sanjay Singh, in the Delhi liquor scam case. He has also challenged the remand granted to him by the trial court, recently. The court will hear the matter on October 13, confirmed sources.

Will Not Interfere In Orders Of CWMA, Says SC In Tamil Nadu-Karnataka Water Issue

In the Cauvery river water dispute, the Supreme Court on September 21, refused to interfere with the order of Cauvery Water Management Authority (CWMA) to Karnataka on releasing 5,000 cusecs of water for now to Tamil Nadu.Tamil Nadu is saying they need 7200 cusecs, Karnataka is saying they can only give 2000 cusecs.
