Shiv Sena Seeks Honesty Prove From Leaders, Asks To Sign Affidavit
After 39 MLAs campaigned against Shiv Sena, the party asked for a signed affidavit from its leaders and officials. In an announcement, the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena said, they would now seek honesty from their officials, including MLAs, Corporators, Shakha Pramukh, Vibhag Pramukh and Deputy Vibhag Pramukh. The decision to sign an affidavit came after massive confusion, regarding who is in Shiv Sena and who is protesting against it.

BJP Leader Rahul Narvekar Elected As Maharashtra Assembly Speaker
BJP leader Rahul Narvekar has been elected as the Maharashtra Assembly speaker. On July 3, Navrekar won the Assembly speaker elections with 164 votes, including votes from non-BJP MLAs. Earlier today, the elections for speaker post kick-started. After the headcount, the BJP candidate beat Shiv Sena candida Yamini Jadhav. and was declared the speaker. With this victory, Rahul Narvekar has now taken the charge of the office.

Madhya Pradesh Wins Ranji Trophy Finals Against 41-Times Champion Maharashtra
Madhya Pradesh team won the Ranji Trophy Finals 2022, against Maharashtra, on June 26. The team defeated Maharashtra with six wickets, at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The Madhya Pradesh team created history by winning the maiden against 41 time champions, Maharashtra. Moreover, Mumbai scored 374 runs and 269 runs with 10 wickets in two innings, whereas MP scored 536 and 108 runs, with 4 wickets, and won with six-wickets.

Naxals Kill 37-Year-Old Maharashtra Man, Police Launches Investigation
In Maharashtra, Nagpur, the murder of Lucky Kumar Oksa, a 37-year-old man was reported by police, on June 23. As per sources, Naxals allegedly picked up the victim from his house in Malampodur village and murdered him. Lucky's body was found in the village on the morning of June 23. Furthermore, the police registered a case and launched an investigation, to identify the murderers and the reason behind it.

Maharashtra Engineer Arrested For Taking Rs 10,000 Bribe, Confirms ACB
In Maharashtra's Thane district, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested a section engineer Bhojwanta Amrutrao Shinde. On June 23, the ACB released a statement, confirming Shinde took a bribe of Rs 10,000 to approve payment of a contractor's bills and refund of the security deposit. Parts In Mumbai Region Witnessed Rainfall In Wee Hours
Several parts of Mumbai in Maharashtra, received moderate to light rainfall on June 19. The rainfall occurred after the southwest monsoon entered the region of Maharashtra, which came as a relief to the people, after scorching heat with the temperature over 42 degrees celsius. Furthermore, although the southwest monsoon entered a week back, the rainfall was witnessed, which IMD has been predicted to continue for the next four days.

Railway Section Engineer Commit Suicide After Being Depressed For Years: Maharashtra
In Palghar district of Maharashtra, Nitesh Chourasia (36), a section engineer with the railways allegedly committed suicide. On June 19, a police official confirmed the news and said, he committed suicide at his residence in Vartak Nagar, around 11;30 pm. Chourasia was said to be depressed for the past six-seven years and shot himself dead. However, he didn't blame anyone for the incident and is survived by wife and son.

Fire Breaks Out In Residential Apartment Of Mumbai, No Casualties
A major fire broke out in a residential building in Mumbai, Maharashtra on June 19. Six fire tenders rushed to the spot and ablaze the fire, rescuing 14 people. As per ANI, the fire broke out in the 14th floor of "Dheeraj Savera" apartment. Although no casualties were reported, there have been reports of damage. In addition, a case has been registered and the cause of the fire is unknown.
