Bihar: Dainik Jagran Journalist Shot Dead By 4 Unknown Miscreants, Case Registered
In shocking news, a journalist of Dainik Jagran, Vimak Kumar Yadav is shot dead in the Araria district of Bihar, on August 18. Four assailants came riding on a bike and called him out of his house and shot him. Notably, in 2019, Vimal's brother was also murdered, and he was the witness. The murder has created an uproar in the district, and an investigation has been launched into it.

Insecure Over Insta Followers, Man Kills Wife In Lucknow
Amid the 'inferiority complex' a husband strangulated his wife to death, in front of their two children. The accused, a 37-year-old businessman committed the crime in his SUV and was arrested by the police, out on patrolling. The accused allegedly was insecure about his wife's followers on Instagram, especially when he is blocked on her account. He believed that she might have an affair with some of her followers.

Ranchi: 2 People Shot Dead Near Science City, Accused Absconding
In a shocking incident, an unidentified person shot down two people identified as Mukesh Kumar and Rohan Kumar, near science city, in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The incident occurred on August 12, under the Bariatu Police Station limits and a SIT is formed to nab the accused, who are currently absconding. Furthermore, initial investigation suggested that personal rivalry over the shop land was reason behind the brutal double murder.

17 Year Old Muslim Boy Murdered In Muzaffarnagar
A 17-year-old brother of a Muslim singer, who courted controversy for singing a bhajan, was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants, UP police confirmed on August 6. The victim, Khursheed, is the cousin of singer Farmani Naaz, and was killed over a heated argument with three bikers, said police. The police has sent the body for postmortem. Furthermore, a case has been registered and an investigation has been launched.

Delhi College Student Killed With Rod, Police Launches Probe
A college student was killed in Delhi today after being attacked with a rod, police said. The incident took place at a park near Aurobindo College in Delhi's Malviya Nagar. According to police, the girl, identified as Nargis, is a student of Kamala Nehru College and had come to the park with her male friend. Police have arrested the 28-year-old friend, believed to have attacked her with a rod.

Delhi Woman Shot Dead, Accused Killed Himself Too
A 42-year-old woman was shot dead near her house in southwest Delhi's Dabri area. The unfortunate incident occurred on July 27, evening, confirmed police. The victim was identified as Renu, who was shot by one Ashish (25). Further investigation revealed that the accused also shot himself and was found at his residence. They met at a gym 2-3 weeks back. A case has been registered and investigation is underway.

In a shocking incident, a woman was found dead in a Haryana hotel, on July 24. According to sources, the incident occurred in Karnal, Haryana, where the police recovered the body, said to be a 33-year-old woman from Delhi. The hotel room was booked by one Manoj, a resident of Sonipat, Haryana. The police also suspected gang rape, and formed teams to nab the absconding Manoj.

ACP Shot Dead Wife And Nephew, Shoots Himself Later In Pune
A 57-year-old assistant commissioner of police (ACP) allegedly shot dead his wife and nephew with a gun before shooting himself fatally at his home in Maharashtra's Pune city on July 24. The incident took place at around 3.30 am at ACP Bharat Gaikwad's bungalow in Baner area. The reason behind the incident was yet to be ascertained and an investigation into the matter is underway.

Bengaluru: 27 Year Old Son Kills Elderly Parents, Police Issue Lookout Notice
In a shocking incident, one Sharath killed his parents Bhaskar (61) and Shantha (60.) The Bengaluru police is on the lookout for a 27-year-old man, who allegedly bludgeoned his aged parents to death. BM Laxmi Prasad, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North East Bengaluru), police suspect that the murders might have taken place between 8:30 pm to 9 pm on Monday.
