Bihar Journalist Murder Case, Police Arrests 4 For Alleged Shooting
In the shocking murder of a Bihar journalist, in 24 hours, the state police arrested the four assailants in the case. Notably, on August 18, four people allegedly shot down Vimal Kumar Yadav, a Dainik Jagran journalist in Araria district, Bihar. The arrested are identified as Vipin Yadav, Bhavesh Yadav, Ashish Yadav, and Umesh Yadav. Furthermore, two more Rupesh Yadav and Kranti Yadav, involved in the case are absconding.

Mentally Unstable Man Chain & Drags People, Kills 2: Bihar Shocker
In Bihar, a mentally disturbed man killed two people, after dragging them for over 500 meters in Bhagalpur Highway. The video of the shocking incident is going viral on social media platforms, giving chills to the people.The accused has been identified as Mohammad Azad, a resident of Fatehpur Village. The incident happened on August, but video went viral recently on August 17. A case has been registered for further investigation.

Nitish Kumar, Tejashwi Yadav Booked In BJP Worker Murder
Days after the opposition BJP in Bihar alleged that one of the party workers died due to a lathi charge, a complaint was filed against Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav and a senior police officer and Patna's district magistrate. The complaint has been filed by BJP worker Krishna Singh in Patna's civil court. Furthermore, the BJP has also constituted a four-member committee to probe the murder.

Bihar Police Arrests 3 People, Suspects Communal Violence, Terror Attack Conspiracy
In Bihar, Patna, the Phulwari Sharif police busted a gang suspected to be a modular terrorist group, on July 14. The police arrested three people including a retired SI Mohammad Jalaluddin. Moreover, they launched a hunt for 12 other suspects, allegedly from the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) and the PFI outfits. They also seized an India vision 2047 manifesto, suspecting terror attacks and communal violence conspiracy.

2 Groups Clash Over Social Media Post Supporting Nupur Sharma
A fight broke out between two communities over a social media post, in support of the suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma. In Bihar's Arrah region, two groups got involved into a violent fight, which was controlled by the police, who rushed to the spot. Furthermore, the police detained the persons involved in the fight to maintain law & order, and also clarified that there is no casualties or injuries reported.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Preaches Brotherhood, Asks To Respect Religious Sentiments
Expressing concern over the recent communal clashes in Indian cities, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said the religious sentiments of the people should be respected. On April 18, he addressed an event 'janta ke darbaar me mukhyamantri' and said, "Here should be an atmosphere of love and brotherhood. Every religion has its own way. Police Seize Eight Live Bombs In Bihar's Vaishali District
Police officials on November 21, confiscated eight live explosives, four days before the panchayat polls in Bihar's Vaishali district, according to an officer. He claimed the devices were recovered and defused in Javaj village, which is under the authority of Mahnar police station. Bihar Police Seize Rs 6 Crore Ahead of State Election in Search Operations
The Bihar State Election Commission informed that a sum of Rs 6 crore has been seized, individual search operations were conducted till October 11. Reportedly, the unaccounted cash were confiscated by the Bihar police from the various locations of the state, including the Bihar-Jharkhand border, Bihar Sampark Kranti special train and in Purnia district. Apart from the cash, brown sugar and cannabis were also seized during the operation.
