Union Minister Narayan Rane Says "Arey Baith Neeche" To MP, Sparks Controversy
Union Minister Narayan Rane lost his cool and rained down on fellow MP Arvind Sawant in a shallow language during no-confidence debate. Rane asked Sawant to sit down saying he doesn’t have the status to speak against the prime minister. “Arey baith neeche (sit down)," the Union minister said, adding that Sawant does not have the “aukat (status)" to speak against PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.

Maharashtra Govt Withdraws Juhu Bungalow Demolition Order
The Maharashtra government has pulled its order of demolition of unauthorized construction that was issued on Union Minister Narayan Rane's Juhu bungalow. In addition, a division bench of Justices A A Sayed and M S Karnik was hearing a plea filed by Rane through his company. ''The Order is passed without any jurisdiction or powers and in an arbitrary, perverse and illegal manner," stated the plea.

BMC Asks Rane To Demolish Illegal Addition At Mumbai Residence
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has asked Union minister Narayan Rane to demolish illegal construction at his bungalow in Juhu in 15 days. On March 14, the BMC issued a notice, "If you (the owner) fail to comply, you will be liable for prosecution under section 475 A of the MMC Act". Earlier also, the BMC issued a notice and warned to remove illegal construction or else legal-action will be taken.

No Illegal Or Commercial Activities In House, Says Narayan Rane After BMC Notice
Union Minister Narayan Rane, on February 18, received notice from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) over his house. The BMC furthermore inspected Narayan's residence. He stated that the bungalow was constructed in 2009 by famous architect, following 1999 Development Control Regulations, assuring no illegal or commercial activities. Rane also said that eight of his family members stay in the house.

Narayan Rane Asked To Appear Before Nashik Police
Union Minister Narayan Rane has been asked to appear before the Nashik police at "12 noon sharp" on August 26 after his dramatic arrest on August 24 for his "slap Uddhav Thackeray" comment. He was subsequently granted bail eight hours later on a bond of ₹15,000. Rane argued in the Raigad court that the charges were politically motivated while also citing his ill health and his Cabinet ministry.
