As Long As I'm Alive, No One Will Cast Evil Eye On Christianity: Navjot Singh Sidhu

Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu promised to save Christianity. On February 10, in Amritsar, Sidhu took a dig against the recent action of attacking Mother Teresa, Christian missionaries under new Foreign Contribution Regulation Act. He said, "As long as I'm alive, no one can cast an evil eye on Christianity". The statement was on behalf of Congress, which hit out at PM Modi Government, during parliament for attacking Christianity.

Rahul Gandhi Reveals Congress CM Face In Punjab: Punjab Assembly Elections

Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, on February 6, addressed a virtual public meeting from Ludhiana. During the meeting, Gandhi sharing stage with two contenders, Navjot Singh Sidhu and Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi, announced Channi to be the Punjab CM face in the 2022 elections, on February 20. While Channi extended gratitude, Navjot Singh accepted Rahul Gandhi's decision and said will work for the party.

Harbhajan Dismisses Rumours Of Joining Politics; Says, 'Will Stick With Cricket'

After announcing retirement, Cricketer Harbhajan Singh is unsure about his next goal. However, he clarified, "mentoring one of the IPL teams or commentary or doing something to be connected with the game but whether I am doing politics at the moment, I don't know," said Harbhajan. The statement came after people's assumption of him joining politics, as he was seen with former Cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu, recently.

Navjot Singh Sidhu Joins Protest Against CM Arvind Kejriwal: Delhi

Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu joined a protest of guest teachers against CM Arvind Kejriwal, outside his residence in Delhi on December 5. Reportedly, they're demanding regularisation in the Education system and wages (equal to permanent teachers). Sidhu took a dig at Kejriwal on Twitter over the Delhi government's education system. Mr. Sidhu also said the unemployment rate in Delhi increased by almost 5% in the past five years.

Punjab Cong Chief Navjot Sidhu Resigns, After Dethroning Amarinder Singh

Navjot Singh Sidhu, on September 28, resigned as the President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, two and a half months after assuming the post. In a letter addressed to Sonia Gandhi, Sidhu said, "The collapse of a man's character stems from the compromise corner, I can never compromise on Punjab's future and the agenda for Punjab's welfare." He said he will continue to serve Congress.
