Railway Deploys Robots To Sanitise Train Coaches Amid COVID-19
To make the train journey safe amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Northern Railways (NR) has deployed remote-controlled Ultraviolet-C disinfectant robots to sanitize the coaches. The robot approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research is said to be more effective than manual cleaning and provides 99.99% effectiveness. Lucknow has become the first city to adopt the robots and railways will also launch them soon for other trains.

Northern Railways Refunds Travellers Who Missed Trains Due To Protest
Northern Railways has announced full ticket refunds for the people who reserved seats but could not reach station due to farmers’ protests. ITDC To Serve Parliamentarians Now, Takes Charge From Northern Railways
India Tourism Development Corporation, a state-owned company, has now been assigned to run the Parliament canteen from November 15.
