Congress MLA Mamman Khan Sent To 14-Days Judicial Custody In Nuh Violence Case

A Haryana court on September 19, sent Congress leader MLA Mamman Khan to 14-day judicial custody in connection with the July 31 communal violence in Haryana's Nuh district. Earlier on September 17, the court had extended Khan's police remand by two days. His remand was extended in connection with an FIR registered at the Nagina police station, officials said. Besides, Nuh violence, three cases are also lodged against Mamman.

Congress MLA Arrested In Nuh Violence Sent For 2-Day Police Remand

Congress MLA Mamman Khan was, on Friday, produced before a court in Nuh which sent him to two-day police remand, police said.  Khan faces charges of instigating communal clashes in Haryana’s Nuh during a procession of Hindu groups on July 31 that killed six people. The Congress MLA was arrested by a SIT of the Haryana Police after his bail application before the Punjab and Haryana High Court was rejected.

Nuh Violence Investigation: Congress MLA Mamman Khan Arrested In Connection

Congress MLA Mamman Khan has been arrested in connection with the July 31 Nuh violence case, police said on September 15.The Ferozepur Jhirka legislator, who was named as an accused in an FIR lodged after the communal clashes, was arrested late last night. Satish Kumar, Ferozepur Jhirkha Deputy Superintendent of Police and the head of the SIT investigating the case, confirmed the arrest.

Nuh Communal Clash Fuels Crimes Against Muslims

Muslims living and working in Haryana's Gurugram apparently continue to be the target of hate crimes, after posters threatening the residents of a slum in Sector 69A of the 'mega city' were put up on Sunday night. A majority of the residents of this slum are Muslims.There were also posters specifically targeting Muslim women and these come days after a mazar in a Gurugram village was set on fire.

Nuh Violence In July, Authorities Deny VHP's Brij Mandal Yatra In Haryana

Authorities have denied permission to hold on August 28 the VHP's Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra in Haryana's Nuh that was disrupted after communal violence in July, police said on Tuesday. The Nuh district administration on Tuesday evening rejected the application for permission moved before it by the organizers of the yatra. he development comes over a week after a 'mahapanchayat' by Hindu outfits at Pondri village in Palwal.

हरियाणा पुलिस से मुठभेड़ के बाद गिरफ्तार हुआ नूंह हिंसा का आरोपी

हरियाणा पुलिस ने नूंह हिंसा के एक आरोपी को संक्षिप्त मुठभेड़ के बाद गिरफ्तार कर लिया। उसकी पहचान हरियाणा के दिदारा, निजामपुर टौरू निवासी आमिर के रूप में हुई। मुठभेड़ के दौरान दोनों तरफ से फायरिंग हुई, जिसमें आरोपी के पैर में गोली लगी है। मुठभेड़ नूंह के ताओरू में अरावली पर्वत के खंडार (खंडहर) में हुई। आरोपी के जुलूस से एक देशी कट्टा बरामद हुआ। नूंह पुलिस की आरोपियों से यह दूसरी मुठभेड़ थी।

Muslims Of Slums, Residential Areas Are Scared After Nuh Violence

The Muslims of Gurgaon, especially after the recent Nuh district Haryana communal clashes. Both in slums and residential societies, Muslims are being threatened. After the July 31 Nuh violence,  shops, homes and places of worship belonging to Muslims have been vandalised, set ablaze and looted. The situation is that Muslims have either locked themselves inside their homes or fled to Delhi or other locations, raising alarming concerns.
