AAP Announces Bhagwant Mann As CM Candidate Of Punjab
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal, on January 18, announced Bhagwant Mann as the "CM Face" in Punjab. The decision was based on people's choice through televote. At least 93% votes were for Bhagwant Mann and 3% votes were for Navjot Singh Sidhu of Congress. "In a way the person chosen as the next Chief Minister Candidate will be the next Chief Minister of Punjab," said Kejriwal.

The AAP is set to release the "CM face" in Punjab, on January 18, ahead of the State Assembly elections. Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP President announced the same on January 17 and said, "AAP's Punjab CM face will be announced at tomorrow noon". Punjab CM Visits Hospital To Meet Victims Of "Ludhiana Explosion"
Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi, on December 23, visited Ludhiana explosion victims at Ludhiana District Complex hospital. A total of five people are injured and one more died in the incident, happened in the morning. Arvind Kejriwal To Visit Punjab For Two Days: Punjab Poll 2022
