Defence Minister Rajnath Singh To Visit Nigeria For 3-Days

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be on a three-day official visit to Nigeria from May 28 to May 30, During the visit, he will attend the swearing-in ceremony of the West African nation’s next President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and hold talks with Nigerian officials. He will identify military hardware that can be exported, confirmed the Union Defence Ministry. This is the first time that Indian defence minister is visiting Nigeria

Rajnath Singh Tests Positive For Novel Coronavirus

Union Defence Minister of India Rajnath Singh tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus. On April 20, an official of the Union Defence Ministry took to Twitter and confirmed that Rajnath Singh have contracted the virus. He is currently under quarantine at home and taking rest as per the advice of doctors.  Moreover, Rajnath Singh is having mild symptoms, confirmed his doctor of Singh.

Rajnath Singh To Induct Light Combat Made-In-India Helicopters Into IAF

Made-in-India light combat helicopter will be inducted into the Indian Air Force (IAF) on October 3. The indigenously developed Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) which will be a major boost to the IAF. The chopper will be inducted in the presence of the Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Notably, 15 LCH choppers will be included in the Indian Defence sector, 10 for the IAF, whereas the remaining for the Indian Army.
