IMD Issues Red, Orange And Yellow Alert In Odisha's 21 Cities
Considering a depression over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining the Odisha coast, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert in seven districts of Odisha for the next 24 hours on September 12. Moreover, IMD also issued an orange alert in six districts and a yellow alert in eight districts. ''There are also chances of flash floods,'' said Umashankar Das, a scientist at IMD Bhubaneswar.

Heavy Rainfall In Telangana; IMD Issues Red Alert
Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert in different parts of Telangana for three days, starting from July 21 to July 23. The red alert explains "very heavy to extremely heavy" rainfall and that is likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas, submergence of roads, and damage to crops. According to IMD, "moderate to heavy rainfall" predicted in Hyderabad, accompanied by lightning and gusty winds.

Mumbai Rains: IMD Issues Red Alert For June 13
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert in Mumbai for June 12 and a red alert for June 13, due to a heavy rainfall. The civic control rooms and other agencies including the power utility firms like BEST and Adani have been issued a notice of "high alert". Squads from NDRF and Navy are made ready to assist in case of an emergency.

MP: Red Alert Declared in Six Districts Due to Heavy Downpour
Due to heavy rainfall in Madhya Pradesh, all the 13 gates of the Tawa Dam in Itarsi of Hoshangabad district have been opened and over 5,33,823 cusecs of water has been released. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan called a meeting to discuss the flood situation as the water level in Narmada rises. A red alert has been declared by the Indian Meteorological Department in six districts due to the extreme downpour.
