Zee 5, an OTT platform, has announced that Taapsee Pannu's 'Rasmi Rocket' to be released on October 15. The film is based on the real-life of athlete Nanda Periyasamy's ''girt and a never-say-die attitude." It is produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP and Mango People Media and directed by Akarsh Khurana. The film also stars Supriya Pathak, Abishek Banerjee, Priyanshu Painyuli and Supriya Pilgaonkar.

Reliance Jio has extended the release date of JioPhone Next to November 4 from September 10, witnessing the upcoming festival Diwali. Reportedly, the company took this decision due to the current global semiconductor shortages inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the 4G phone may come with a 5.5-inch display, a Qualcomm QM215 SoC, 2GB/3G RAM +16GB/32GB storage option, 2,500mAh battery, Android 11, costing around Rs 3,499.

Akshay Kumar's upcoming film ''Bell Bottom'' is set to release in theatres on August 19. Notably, Kumar, who is playing the role of a RAW agent in the film based on the plane hijacks, took to Instagram saying, ''Poore feel ke saath thrill experience karna...#BellBottom also arriving in 3D.'' Besides, the film directed by Ranjit M Tewari stars Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, and Lara Dutta.

Malik a socio-political thriller movie starring Fahadh Faasil will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on July 15. Inspired by real-life events, the story is written and directed by Mahesh Narayanan. Confident about the film's performance, Mahesh said, "Malik is a story rooted in the Indian ethos with multiple nuances in its character as well as the emotions they portray and I hope it resonates with the expectations of the audience".
