Political Row Erupts Amid AAP Minister's Presence In Religious Conversion Event
A political row erupted after a purported video of AAP minister Rajendra Pal Gautam at a "religious conversion" event went viral. On October 7, a video, in which hundreds can be heard taking an oath denouncing Hindu deities, spread all over the media, following which the BJP launched an attack on Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and asked him to sack his cabinet colleague. Arvind Kejriwal expressed displeasure with Gautam.

SC Issues Notice To Govt Regarding Fraudulent Religious Coversion
Supreme Court has issued notice to Central Government regarding fraudulent religious conversion. On September 23, the Apex Court bench of justices MR Shah and Krishna Murari issued orders, asking the GoI to take the necessary steps and control the religious conversion fraud, after reviewing a plea seeking direction to the Centre and State governments. The top court asked the parties to file a reply by November 14 and adjourned the matter.

TN Education Minister Suspends Teacher For Allegations Of Religious Conversion
In Tamil Nadu's Kanyakumari region, parents of class VI students complained against a teacher, alleging of trying religious conversion and glorifying Christianity.
