Building Collapses In Delhi’s Azad Market Area; 2 Injured, 5 Trapped

In Delhi’s Azad market area, a building collapsed killing two persons and leaving five others trapped inside, on September 9. Flash Flood In Himachal Pradesh Leaves People Stranded, Rescue Operation Underway

In Himachal Pradesh's Lahaul and Spiti districts, the rescue management saved at least 105 people, mostly tourists after a flash flood left them stranded. On July 31, flash floods disturbed the holiday movement in Lahaul and Spiti, leaving many vehicles damaged, and people stranded along National Highway 505. BRO press launched a rescue service and many tourists were taken to Koksar. Furthermore, nine roads in the region were blocked.

Building Collapsed In Delhi's Mustafabad, Rescue Operations Underway

In Delhi's  Mustafabad area, a three-storey building collapsed on July 24, confirmed the Delhi Fire Service. In the incident, the fire services rescued four people and a search operation is underway to find more persons who are trapped underneath the rubble. The incident was reported at around 5 am, on July 24, following which three fire tenders were rushed to the spot, said Atul Garg, Director, Delhi Fire Service.

Pilgrims Waits For Amarnath Yatra To Resume, Suspended Amid Cloudburst

After the cloudburst incident, the authority suspended the Amarnath yatra temporarily.  Amid the suspended yatra, many pilgrims are waiting at Baltal Base camp for it to recommence. Furthermore, the route of the Amarnath Yatra, in Jammu and Kashmir is also damaged and the repair work to resume the yatra is underway. Meanwhile, amid the cloudburst incident, 16 yatris died and rescue work for other stranded yatris is underway.

Fire Breaks Out In Residential Apartment Of Mumbai, No Casualties

A major fire broke out in a residential building in Mumbai, Maharashtra on June 19.  Six fire tenders rushed to the spot and ablaze the fire, rescuing 14 people. As per ANI, the fire broke out in the 14th floor of "Dheeraj Savera" apartment. Although no casualties were reported, there have been reports of damage. In addition, a case has been registered and the cause of the fire is unknown.

Odisha Coast Guard Rescues 12 Stranded Fishermen From Coast

In Odisha, approximately 12 fishermen stranded in the sea for over 12 hours were rescued, confirmed Odisha police, on June 17. As per PTI, the Coast Guard and Odisha Police conducted search operations and saved fishermen. Furthermore, one crew member of the fishing vessel, which went missing on June 16, is still missing. The officials are continuing their search operation, and bring back all the members safe to harbour.

7 Trekkers Stranded In Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag At Height Of 4,500 Metres Rescued In IAF Chopper

A group of seven trekkers who were stranded at an altitude of 4,500 metres in Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag, have been rescued by an Indian Air Force Chopper, on May 30. Reportedly, the group trekked to film a documentary, and found themselves unable to trek back. The group ran out of water and food, and was stranded since three days, due to which, they raised an SOS.

Arunachal Pradesh Landslide Kills 2 People, Traps 1, Says Police

In Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, two people died after their house was hit by a massive landslide and a woman is still trapped in the bamboo house, which crashed on May 15 night, after landslide. SP Jimmy Chiram said, while two bodies have been retrieved from the debris, the "fate of the woman is yet to be known". Furthermore, the deceased have been identified as Nagen Barman (50) and Tapas Rai (15).

Rescue Operations Halt After 45 hours In Deoghar Ropeway Accident

As per officials, all the tourists who were trapped mid-air in cable cars connecting the Trikut Hills in Deoghar have been rescued. In addition, around three people lost their lives while about 12 persons were hospitalized. Notably, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren had announced a high-level investigation into the accident and stated that the administration was keeping a close vigil on rescue operations.
