Pakistan All-rounder Mohammad Hafiz To Retire From International Cricket

The 41-year-old veteran all-rounder and former captain of Pakistan cricket team, Mohammad Hafiz, who has signed up with Lahore Qalandars for the upcoming edition of Pakistan Super League, is set to retire from international cricket. The top-order batter represented Pakistan in 392 international matches, in which he scored 12,789 runs and took 253 wickets. Hafeez has played 55 tests, 218 ODIs and 119 T20s for the country.

As per the statement issued by Cricket South-Africa, De Kock intends to spend more time with his family, who played his last Test against India and scored 34 and 21 in the two innings. De Kock, however, said that he intends to continue playing white-ball cricket for South Africa.

Former Captain of New Zealand Ross Taylor has announced his retirement from international cricket. He would retire after the end of upcoming series against Bangladesh, Australia and the Netherlands in 2022. Taylor had made his debut back in 2006 and managed to score 18,074 runs in 445 matches in his career, the most by anyone from his country. Taylor said it’s been an honour to have represented New Zealand.

Harbhajan Singh Retires From All Forms Of Cricket

Cricketer Harbhajan Singh announced his retirement from all forms of cricket, on December 24. The Kolkata Knight Riders' off spinner ended his 23-year-long cricket journey. "All good things come to an end and today as I bid adieu to the game that has given me everything in life. My heartfelt thank you. Grateful," tweeted Singh. Notably, Harbhajan has played 103 Tests, 236 ODIs, 28 T20s, for India.
