Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced the formation of a 'Gau Cabinet' (Cow’s Cabinet) in the state to conserve and promote cattle. In addition to this, departments of the animal husbandry, forest, panchayat and rural development, revenue, home and farmers welfare department will be included in the cabinet. MP: Child Falls Into 200-feet Deep Borewell; Rescue Efforts In Full Swing
Soon after a 5-year-old boy, Prahlad, fell into a 200-feet deep borewell on November 4, the rescue operation began in full swing with Army also being part of that. The incident occurred in Niwadi district of Madhya Pradesh. According to police, the boy fell into the improperly closed borewell when labourers were installing a pipe casing in it. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has also prayed for the boy's safety.

After UP and Haryana, MP Plans to Bring Law to Discourage Interfaith Marriages
Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan said a law will be enacted against love-jihad if situation permitted. Vowing to teach a lesson to offenders, the CM said “There will be no jihad in the name of love. Madhya Pradesh CM Pledges to Convert all 'Kutcha Houses' to 'Pucca Houses'
Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said his government is providing financial assistance to ensure that there are no mud-brick (kutcha) houses in the state by 2023. The financial aid is provided through housing schemes and the government has restarted the 'Sambal Yojana' scheme, which acts as 'security cover' for the poor. 60% Covid-19 deaths in Bhopal are victims of 1984 Gas disaster, Survivor groups Claims
Several Survivors groups of Bhopal-Gas-tragedy stated that over 60% of Covid-19 death in the city, are the victims of 1984 gas tragedy. In the last 15 days, six gas-victims with Covid-19 have died at Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre, due to negligence at the isolation ward. The group says, they had warned authorities in the month of March that gas-victims are five-times more vulnerable to Covid-19 than others.

Madhya Pradesh: 1.75 Lakh Houses Under PM Awas Yojana Inaugurated by PM Modi
PM Narendra Modi, through a video conference on September 12, inaugurated 1.75 lakh houses built by Madhya Pradesh government under the PM Awas Yojana. Addressing the recipients of the houses, Modi said, "Your celebrations this Diwali, and on other festivals will be at another level." Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Chouhan, while thanking the PM, said the state government had already constructed 17 lakh houses out of the 20 lakhs planned.
