Apple Inc. Becomes World's Biggest Smartphone Seller In 4th Quarter
The Apple Inc. became the world's largest smartphone seller as its shipment rose to 22% cornering 23.4% global market share. On January 27, the shipment data revealed that the US tech giant recorded over $100 billion revenue for the first time. While Apple sold 90.1M phones, it was seconded by Samsung which shipped 73.9 million devices in the same quarter. Reportedly, the demand for Apple products in greater China increased by 57%.

Realme India Extrapolates To Sell 30 Million Smartphones In 2021
Chinese smartphone brand Realme has planned to increase its 2021 sale by 30% by selling 25-30 million units in India. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth said that despite losing over a quarter of their 2020 sales, the company had managed a 25% rise in sales. Madhav stated the opportunity of increased replacement due to rough use during the pandemic would help them reach the target while aiming at under Rs 15,000 smartphones.
