India Vs England: BCCI Allows Players' Families During Quarantine
Ahead of hosting India-England tour, the Indian cricket team on January 28 cleared their first of the three-round COVID-19 RT-PCR test. The BCCI has also allowed the players to be accompanied by their families. For this, a BCCI official said that coming from a wearying Australian tour, a hard and "lonely" quarantine could be extremely burdensome for the players. However, the board has mandated bio-bubble for all.

KL Rahul Sustains Wrist Injury; Ruled Out Of India-Australia Series
The BCCI on January 5 ruled out KL Rahul from the remaining two test matches against Australia after the batsman sustained wrist injury. Reportedly, Rahul injured his left wrist on January 2 during the net practice session at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Subsequently, he has returned to India and will be at the National Cricket Academy, Bangalore for further treatment. Rahul had not played any match in the ongoing test series.

Sri Lankan Cricket Team To Travel South Africa in December For Test Series
As per the reports, Sri Lankan Cricket team will travel to South Africa in the month of December for a two-test series. The team made its rebound to international cricket after ten-months due to pandemic. The first match will commence at either 'Durban' or 'Port Elizabeth', and the new-year test at 'Cape Town'. Sri Lanka became the first Asian cricket team to win the test series in South Africa.
