Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the post-Union Budget webinar of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, on February 26. In addition, three thematic sessions will be held on the topics of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, E-Sanjeevani, and the Tele-mental Health Programme. Notably, the programme aims to involve stakeholders in taking forward the various initiatives of the Government in the health sector.

India reports 13,405 new cases of COVID-19 on February 22, 34,226 recoveries, and 235 deaths in the last 24 hours, confirmed the Union Health Ministry. While the active caseload in India is at 1,81,075, the current recovery rate in the country stands at 98.38%. However, from 15 days, the daily COVID-19 cases have remained below one lakh. Moreover, as of now, India has administered 175.83 crore vaccine doses to people.

India reports 19,968 new cases of COVID-19 on February 20, 48,847 recoveries, and 673 deaths in the last 24 hours, confirmed the Union Health Ministry. While the active caseload in India is at 2,24,187, the current recovery rate in the country stands at 98.21%. However, on February 19, Delhi reported 635 Covid-19 cases and two deaths. Moreover, as of now, India has administered 175.37 crore vaccine doses to people.

India on February 11, reported 58,077 new cases of COVID-19, 1,50,407 recoveries, and 657 deaths in the last 24 hours, which is 13.4% lower than February 10. While the active caseload in India is at 6,97,802, the current recovery rate in the country stands at 97.17%. However, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu continues to register the maximum cases. Moreover, till date, India has administered 171.79 crore vaccine doses.

Pune based Serum Institute of India (SII) on February 4, wrote to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, to reduce booster dose gap from nine months to three. The SII Director and Government Affairs official Prakash Kumar Singh, further asked to allow Covishield precaution dose for all above 18-years-old.
