India Reports 1.61 Lakh Fresh Cases Of COVID-19 & 1.733 Deaths In Last 24 Hours
India reported 1,61,386 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally of cases to 4.16 crore, on February 2, according to the Union Health Ministry. The country also recorded 1,733 deaths due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 4,97,975. About 167.29 crore doses of vaccine have been administered, so far. The daily positivity rate stands at 9.26%.

India COVID-19 Active Case Decline With 2.86 Lakh New Cases
India COVID-19 infection reported decline in active cases with 2,86,384 fresh cases. As of January 27, there are 22,02,472 active cases. India Reports 1.94 Lakh Fresh COVID-19 Cases In 24 Hours; Highest In 219 Days
India reported 1,94,720 fresh COVID-19 cases, on January 12, which is 15.8% higher than yesterday's 1.68 lakh single day cases. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya held a high-level meeting with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) officials and doctors, over COVID-19 management. India Registers 1,79,723 COVID Cases; Daily Positivity Rate Stands At 13.29%
The Union Ministry of Health said that India reported 1,79,723 new COVID-19 cases, 46,569 recoveries, and 146 deaths in the last 24 hours, on January 10. India's Omicron tally has climbed to 4,033, out of which, 1,552 have recovered. Reportedly, Maharashtra reported 1,216 Omicron cases, followed by Rajasthan (529), and Delhi (513). The daily positivity rate in the country stands at 13.29% and the weekly positivity rate at 7.92%.

India's Omicron Tally Stands At 236: Covid-19 Update
India has reported 236 cases of Covid-19's Omicron variant, as of December 23. According to the union health ministry, Omicron has spread to 16 states and UTs. Maximum number of Omicron cases are reported in Delhi (64), Telangana (24), Rajasthan (21) , Karnataka (19) and Kerala (15). In the last 24 hours, India recorded 7,495 new cases of Covid-19, taking the active caseload to 78,291.

India's Omicron Cases Tally At 101: Union Secretary Lav Agarwal
Omicron cases are rising rapidly in India, taking the total to 101 cases, on December 17, said Lav Agarwal, the Joint Secretary of Union Health Ministry. "World Health Organisation (WHO) has said that Omicron is spreading faster than the Delta Variant in South Africa, where Delta circulation was low, ," said Agarwal. India Records 9,283 Covid-19 Cases With 437 Deaths In Last 24 Hours
The Union Health Ministry on November 24, said that India recorded 9,283 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 3,45,35,763 cases. Meanwhile the total death toll increased to 4,66,584 with 437 new deaths in the country. The active case stands at 1,11,481, which is reported to be the lowest in 537 days. The recovery rate of the country was recorded at 98.33%.

India Reports 10,488 COVID-19 Cases, 313 Deaths In Last 24 Hours
India recorded 10,488 new COVID-19 cases, 12,329 recoveries in the past 24 hours, said the Union Health Ministry on November 21. India also reported 313 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 4,65,662. Active caseload stands at 1,22,714 which is said to be the lowest in 532 days. The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.98%, less than 2% for the last 48 days.
