Japan To Strengthen Diplomatic Relation; Sends One Million COVID-19 Vaccine
Japan is sending one million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to Vietnam, as announced on June 15 by the Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi. However, the AstraZeneca vaccines are being manufactured in Japan and will reach Vietnam on June 16. To strengthen its diplomatic relations in the world, Japan is planing to send COVID vaccines to other countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand as well.

Vietnam To Import Rice From Rival Exporter India After Decades
Quitting its decade-old stance, Vietnam will now import rice from its competitor and world's largest exporter of the grain, India. Formula One Cancels Vietnamese Grand Prix Amid Rising COVID-19 Cases
The Formula One organizers on October 16 announced the cancellation of the Vietnamese Grand Prix 2020. The authorities cited increasing COVID-19 cases as a reason behind the decision. The first-ever Grand Prix in Vietnam was earlier scheduled to be conducted on the streets of Hanoi in April and later was postponed to July. With the cancellation of Vietnamese Grand Prix, 13 races stand cancelled in the 2020 Formula One calendar.
