Kanpur Clash: Violence Erupts Between Police & Members Of Minority Community In UP
In Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur, violence broke out in the Becongunj area near Yatimkhana, between member of a minority community and police, on June 3. Reportedly the violence erupted after police baton-charged the locals. Around six persons were injured in the clash, and at least two shots were fired in during the incident. Women Factory Workers Not Bound To Work Post 7 PM: UP Govt
The BJP-led Uttar Pradesh government announced that women employed in factories across the state cannot be bound to work the night shift. As per the order, women cannot be forced to take up work in factories before 6 am and post 7 pm. The order has come in an attempt to provide a safe working environment for the women in the state.

Uttar Pradesh Budget 2022-23 To Be Discussed On May 26, Says UP CM Yogi Adityanath
UP CM Yogi Adityanath said that the Uttar Pradesh budget 2022-23 will be discussed in the state assembly on May 26. The announcement came while Adityanath addressed the media before the first session of the 18th UP assembly in Lucknow. Furthermore, he welcomed all the elected members of the house. Ex District Magistrate Nidhi Kesarwani Suspended In Illegal Land Acquisition Case: UP
Former Ghaziabad's District Magistrate Nidhi Kesarwani has been suspended by UP CM Yogi Adityanath, on May 4. The suspension has come after Kesarwani was alleged in a land acquisition case for Delhi-Meerut Expressway and Eastern Peripheral Expressway. CM Adityanath then stated that "a section officer and a review officer of the appointment department will also suspended for delay in the taking up the matter".

UP CM Yogi Adityanath directed ministers, IAS, IPS and other Provincial Civil Service officers to declare all the properties owned by them and their family members, on April 26. Fire At Saree Factory In Varanasi Claims Lives Of 4 Workers
In a tragic incident, four persons were killed due to a massive fire that broke out at a saree factory in Varanasi, on April 14. While the workers were cooking food, synthetic materials kept nearby caught fire. The fire was doused and the bodies have been sent for post mortem, reported PTI. UP CM Yogi Adityanath has announced an ex-gratia amount of Rs 4 lakh to the family of deceased.

No Clashes Reported On Ram Navami In UP: Yogi Adityanath
UP CM Yogi Adityanath shared a video on Twitter, expressing happiness over the fact that there were no riots, clashes or violence reports in the State on Ram Navami. Taking to Twitter on April 12, Yogi said, "This is proof of UP's new progressive way of thinking. Here, there is no place for riots and chaos".
