YSR Telangana Party Chief caught slapping a constable. In a viral video, YS Sharmila was seen slapping and beating a lady constable and head constable. As per sources, Sharmila and her mother Vijayaamma was staging a protest against the recent TSPSC Paper Leak matter, demanding compensation for lakhs of youths. However, the police arrived and stopped her as she didn't have permission. Reacting to this, she allegedly slapped the constable.

YS Sharmila Detained By Police: TSPSC Paper Leak Scam
Telangana Police arrested YSRTP President YS Sharmila, while she was trying to lay seige the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) office in Hyderabad. However, the police stopped Sharmila, asking her to leave the area, and when she continued the protest, the female police personnel detained her. Notably, YS Sharmila along with her supporters called for the protest against the paper leak issue, demanding a CBI probe.

YS Sharmila Detained Amid 'Silent Protest' At Tank Bund
YSR Telangana Party President YS Sharmila was detained by the Hyderabad Police, on March 8. As per sources, Sharmila was holding a 'silent protest' with the party activists, when the city police arrested her. YS Sharmila Takes Dig At CM KCR Ahead Of Munugode By Election: Telangana
In Telangana, YS Sharmila, President of the YSR Telangana Party took a dig at the ruling TRS government and CM K Chandrashekar Rao. On September 21, during padayatra in Parigi region, Sharmila called the upcoming Munugode by-elections as "street dog fight" where the BJP and TRS are trying to show "muscle power" and win. Telangana: Andhra CM Reddy's sister YS Sharmila Launches Her Own Party
YS Sharmila, daughter of the former CM of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhara Reddy, has launched her own YSR Telangana Party. During the celebration of the launch party, Sharmila promised to bring "Rajanna Rajyam" to Telangana and hinted to resolve the Krishna water row issue with Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile, brother YS Jagan who has kept his distance from his sister's political career was unavailable at the event.

Late Telangana CM YS Rajasekara Reddy's daughter and current CM Jagan Mohan Reddy's sister YS Sharmila has announced to launch a political party in the state on July 8. Discarding all speculations about being related to the TRS or BJP, Sharmila said, "My party will not work under any of the parties." Notably, the meeting was skipped by CM Reddy. Showing anti-TRS stance, Sharmila also sought backing from YSR supporters.
