SC Agrees To Review Amaravati Capital Issue, Lists Matter
The Supreme Court reviewed the request of advocate Niranjan Reddy, asking for earl listing of the Amaravati Capital Issue. On February 6, the Top Court listed the Andhra Pradesh Capital issue for hearing on February 23. Notably, the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led YSRCP Government moved the Apex Court, after the AP High Court issues a stay order on the issue, restricting the government to shift capital.

Tension Prevails In Kuppam After Unidentified People Attacks Anna Canteens
Tension prevailed in Kuppam district after some miscreants attacked Anna canteens, near the bus stand of Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh. Upon hearing of the attack, the TDP leader rushed and staged a protest demanding strict action against the culprit. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy To Be Elected As Lifetime YSRCP President
In Andhra Pradesh, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party organised plenary meeting, to elect the president. The two-days event, on July 8-9, will be held in a grand manner, in which YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the AP CM will get a lifetime position as the YSRCP President. Scheduled on the 72nd birth anniversary of late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, this will be the third plenary meeting of the YSRCP, since 2009.

YSRCP Candidate Mekapati Leads With Over 50,000 Votes In Atmakur By-Polls
In the Andhra Pradesh's Atmakur by-election, the ruling YSRCP is leading against the BJP and the TDP, on June 26. After rounds of vote counting, the YSRCP candidate Mekapati Vikram Reddy is leading with 50,654 votes against his BJP rival Bharat Kumar Yadav, said the ECI. Notably, so far Vikram polled 61,829 votes while Bharat got 11,175. Furthermore, the results of the Atmakur by-election is expected by the afternoon.

AP Govt To Hold 1st Cabinet Meeting After Reshuffle At 3 PM
Andhra Pradesh Government has scheduled the first cabinet meeting after the recent Cabinet reshuffle, on May 12. CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will chair the meeting, which has been preponed and is at 3 pm, with the newly inducted and reshuffled ministers. They will hold discussions about the growth of AP. AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy To Hold First Cabinet Meeting After Reshuffle
The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet is scheduled to hold the first Cabinet meeting of the YSRCP, after State CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, reshuffled its cabinet.
