Andhra Plans To Deploy India's First Mobile Ambulance For Animals
Andhra Pradesh government has planned to introduce Mobile Ambulance Veterinary Clinic for distressed animals in every constituency. Aimed to provide health services, nearly 175 mobile clinics will be deployed with one veterinary and para-veterinary doctor in each. Backed with 24/7 toll-free call centres, the ambulances consistent with 108 services will provide first aid services and conduct spot diagnosis besides tackling emergency cases. The vehicles will also feature hydraulic lift for shifting animals to care centres.
