Anti-lockdown Protests In Melbourne Gets Violent
About ten Australian police officers sustained injures during a large protest in Melbourne, which resulted in the arrest of around 253 people on September 18. Reportedly, the protesters called out protest against the extended lockdown imposed by the Australian government, however, Police Commander Mark Galliot said, "protesters came only to pick a fight with the police." Galliot further criticized the protester's actions and called it a "fruitless protest".
