BMC To Charge Rs 2,000 For Each Potholes Due To Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations
Under the new Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra Government, all restrictions imposed for festive celebrations, especially "Ganesh Chaturthi" has been lifted. However, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation issued a set to guidelines for the pandal set up, including Rs 2,000 for each pothole, created due to the pandal erection or procession. Notably, Eknath Shinde announced to make Mumbai potholes free, soon. In this regard, he directed BMC to ensure works.
