Centre Issues New Guidelines For Managing COVID-19 In Children
The Centre on June 10 issued new guidelines for managing COVID-19 in children. Under the new guidelines, the doctors have been warned against the use of Remdesivir injections in children. They must also avoid steroids and antimicrobials for children's treatment, read the guidelines. Besides, the doctors have also been advised to use HRCT Scan imaging rationally among kids. As for asymptomatic and mild infections, paracetamol tablets have been recommended.
