Coal Shortage In India Will Normalise In 3-4 Days, Says Govt
Amid the ongoing shortage of coal in several Indian states, Union Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi said the crisis will start normalising in the next three-four days on October 9. Reportedly, a sudden demand for ''electricity due to revival of economy and heavy rain in coal mine areas during September'' led to a crisis. Besides, China, the largest coal consumer followed by India is also facing a shortage.
