Delhi Air Quality Deteriorates to 'Severe' Day After Ignoring Cracker Bans
The national capital of India woke up to a smoggy morning on November 15, as the air quality turned "severe" in Delhi. According to Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), the areas in the "severe" category included ITO with Air Quality Index (AQI) of 461, Anand Vihar (478), Faridabad(438), Ghaziabad (483), Gurgaon (424) and Noida (466). Experts believe that the increase in pollution levels are due to the people ignoring "cracker bans" in the city.
