Delhi Police Cordoned Off India Gate Amid Wrestler's Protest
A day after the country’s top wrestlers announced a plan to launch an indefinite hunger at India Gate, the Delhi police cordoned off the memorial and barred public entry to the lawns. The wrestlers said they will intensify their protest and sit on hunger strike until death, demanding the arrest of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the WFI President. The wrestlers also gave a five-day ultimatum to the GoI, demanding action.
