Facebook India: “We Denounce Hate and Bigotry in Any Form”

Facebook India's vice president and managing director Ajit Mohan on August 21 said, "We denounce hate and bigotry in any form.” The statement came amidst the ongoing political row demanding actions against Facebook's India team, which allegedly violated its hate speech policy in favour of the ruling BJP. Ajit added that all those public figures' posts, which defy Facebook's "Community Standards", would be discarded.
