Grandson Kills 62-year-old Woman Over Suspicion Of Black Magic

A 62-year-old grandmother was hacked to death with an axe by her grandson in Maharashtra's Palghar district on October 12. The accused, Kailas Dangte, was under the impression that his grandmother was practicing 'witchcraft' that has brought misfortunes in his life. The Police have registered a case under IPC Section 302 (muder). However, the accused is absconding and the search operation in underway.
